This purse was handmade by the Maya women in the Guatemalan highlands. It includes 2 fine quality sections of a huipil which was woven on a backstrap loom. The huipil is on both sides of the bag. The dark blue cotton base cloth was handwoven on a foot powered floor loom. It is fully lined, has a zipper closure, plus an inside zippered compartment, and a 24" long x 2" wide shoulder strap. Measures 12" x 8". This item is one of a kind, the purse you see pictured is exactly what you will receive.
