This purse was handmade by the Maya women in the Guatemalan highlands. It includes a fine quality section of a Santo Tomas Chichicastenango huipil which was woven on a backstrap loom. The dark blue cotton base cloth was handwoven on a foot powered floor loom. It is fully lined, has a zipper closure, plus two zipper compartments on the back and one inside, and two 28" long x 1" wide shoulder strap. Measures 13" x 8.5".
