This hat was hand woven in Otavalo, Ecuador of 100% genuine alpaca fiber. It measures approx 6.5" high X 12" in circumference (hat will stretch). The hat you see pictured is the hat you will receive.
Alpaca fiber is lighter in weight and warmer than sheep wool. It is very soft with a silky texture, not prickly like sheep wool. It does not include lanolin, making it nearly hypoallergenic. Alpacas are not harmed in the process of obtaining the fiber.
