These small wool carpets were handwoven/knotted by Tibetan refugees who live in a large 'camp' just outside Kathmandu, Nepal. They are very thick and substantial and the quality is quite good. Carpets of this size are commonly used as seat cushions. 1/2 of the proceeds from the sale of these carpets will go directly to the Tibetan people.
